Many people who vacation on Maui prefer to do so in the fall months, when crowds die down a bit. Luckily, if you’re considering a fall trip to Maui, there are plenty of events and things to do! Other than securing your Maui condo rental well ahead of time, we have a few things you may want to do once you arrive on our beautiful island.
Since it’s nearly November, you may want to know what’s going on. If you love food, you’re in luck! Each year in the spring and fall, visitors can experience Restaurant Week Wailea. This is a week in which all of the world-renowned restaurants in Wailea celebrate by offering guests a spectacular value, with three-course meals available for $29, $39, or $49 per person. Even more important, enjoying a fabulous meal at these restaurants helps support an important and worthwhile cause, as part of the proceeds go to the Maui Food Bank. This year, Restaurant Week Wailea will be held from November 6 through the 12th; you can learn more by visiting the Wailea Resort Association website.
Whale watching cruises are another favorite and fun activity for visitors to Maui, most of them starting in the middle of November and going on through spring months. Parasailing, grassroots festivals, fundraising auctions where you can grab a fantastic deal on golf, helicopter and boat tours, and more, are other events you may be interested in.
Love a great Friday night party? You won’t want to miss the Lahaina Town Party and other island parties featuring local entertainment and food across the island on Friday nights. When it’s Friday, you’re sure to find a great party somewhere on the island!
Who doesn’t want to take home wonderful souvenirs from their trip to Maui? At the Made in Maui County Festival on November 5th, you’ll find all kinds of unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts, collectibles, jewelry, artwork, and more. Maui’s culture is evident in the locally made products, and vendors/craftsmen enjoy an opportunity to show off their talents. This is a festival you won’t want to miss if you’re in Maui on this date! It all happens at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.
